Kathy Tavoularis For Orange City Council

In April 2021, Kathy Tavoularis was appointed to fill a vacant city council seat to the represent the Orange City Council’s Third District. She is the first Greek-American to serve on the Orange City Council. She is a champion of public safety and will work to combat homelessness, unburden Orange families and businesses from excessive taxation, and be a voice in overseeing the future of the Village at Orange Mall.

Why I am Running For Orange City Council?


Re-tooling our local economy to strengthen it for future generations.


Like you, i want our local city government to work for you, by rooting out waste, fraud and abuse.


Together, we are Orange! There is no challenge that we can not overcome.


I am committed to serving those who live and work in District #3. Just as equally, I intend to represent the entire City of Orange as we charter our course into the future. .

Focused. Leadership.

  • Public Safety – Work with the Orange Police Department and the Orange Fire Department to ensure we have adequate number of staff to answer every call. To address crime and neighborhood safety concerns.


  • Open Up Orange Businesses – To ensure all Orange businesses open to full capacity post-COVID safety.


  • North Tustin Specific Development Plan – Work closely with Orange City Staff and Consultants to bring about the best development plans for the former Sears property at the Orange Mall (Village of Orange) and the rest of the site along with the other three focus areas of the Tustin-Lincoln area, the Taft-Tustin area and the Katella Tustin area. To work with the community to ensure full neighborhoods participation and input are heard and addressed.
